Work Location: Onsite in San Diego, California

Engagement Model: Temporary employment; Full-time (40 hours/week)

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday during regular business hours of 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM PDT

Start Date: Estimated week of June 24th

Project Duration: Approximately 10 - 12 weeks (estimated October 18 end date)

DataForce by TransPerfect is seeking a motivated Onsite Project Moderator to join our team for a new data collection project in San Diego, California! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative project to improve Artificial Intelligence technology.

We are looking for individuals who have excellent communication skills, are diligent and detail-oriented, and can work somewhat independently. The successful candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced work environment and has experience in customer service.

Role Summary

The Project Moderator will work onsite at a designated location in San Diego and will be expected to foster a positive participant experience. Moderators will work directly with participants to ensure the proper execution of study requirements. The primary responsibility is to moderate user sessions and provide updates to the other members of the production team, as well as troubleshooting of data collection technology.

Role Responsibilities

  • Understand provided project documentation to assist participants
  • Interact with participant(s) and lead them through data collection projects
  • Acknowledge and resolve participants’ issues, escalate unsolved issues
  • Capture data for the assigned project, aiming to reach the targeted daily goal
  • Utilize client tools to label/tag data
  • Convey sessions details to the Project Manager and Production team
  • Communicate and coordinate with project team
  • Interact with various hardware & software

  • Experience working with customer support
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude towards participants
  • Must have professional fluency in English (US)
  • Must have technical knowledge and be comfortable with new technologies
  • Available for the whole duration of project (10-12 weeks since beginning of project)
  • Available during working hours of Monday - Friday, 9am – 6pm PDT
  • Within a reasonable commuting distance to San Diego
