TransPerfect, the world’s largest provider of language services and technology solutions for global business, is looking to incorporate people for a new Project Manager opening in India for its Artificial Intelligence (AI) department, DataForce.

The Project Manager will function as a client facing, results-driven and innovative production leader. The role will have accountability on customer relationship, end to end project delivery and driving profitable projects.

Other responsibilities would include:

• Act as main point of contact for project execution and quality management
• Lead and certify for production readiness and focus on most effective and cost-efficient solutions
• Work with DataForce program manager to ensure successful projects execution, customer satisfaction and continual process improvement
• The projects will mostly, but not exclusively, be related to Natural Language Processing, Data Curation and Labeling, Speech Recognition and Synthesis, Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Systems

• This role requires time and tasks management skills and ability to work on several diverse projects at the same time
• Passion about our customers, technology and people
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills, outstanding agility skills, and excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
• Solid project management skills (e.g. planning, progress tracking, project finance)
• Solid understanding of data collection, annotation, transcription activities

Required experience and qualifications: 

• 3-5 years’ experience in project management or other roles with similar responsibilities
• Experience in creating and maintaining spreadsheets trackers

Desired skills and experience:

• Previous experience in NLP is a plus
• Experience in managing projects with crowdsourcing
