Work Schedule: Monday – Friday during regular business hours of 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM PDT

DataForce by TransPerfect is seeking a motivated Onsite Project Moderator with a background in clinical trials or a medical environment to join our team for a new data collection project in San Diego, California! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative project to improve Artificial Intelligence technology.
We are looking for individuals who have excellent communication skills, are diligent and detail-oriented, and can work somewhat independently. The successful candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced work environment and has experience in customer service.
Role Summary
The Project Moderator will work onsite at a designated location in San Diego and will be expected to foster a positive participant
experience. Moderators will work directly with participants to ensure the proper execution of study requirements. The primary responsibility is to moderate user sessions and provide updates to the other members of the production team, as well as troubleshooting of data collection technology.
Role Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain data collection equipment, offload data, manage logistics, provide daily reports, and lead the overall high-quality data generation for this effort, day in, day out
- Understand provided project documentation to assist participants
- Interact with participants and lead them through the data collection project
- Capture data for the assigned project, aiming to reach the targeted daily goal
- Utilize client tools to label/tag data
- Convey sessions details to the Project Manager and Production team
- Communicate and coordinate with project team
- Interact with various hardware & software
- Assist in preparing session materials and setting up facility
- Monitor and manage participant flow within the site
- Address participant questions and concerns in a professional manner
- Provide feedback on session dynamics and participant engagement
- Ability to lift up 25lbs when needed
Job requirements
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, communications, or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
- Clinical trials experience or medical experience focusing on general awareness of items like adverse events, identifying if participants are physically fit to participate in the study, potential medical risks, etc.
- Experience in moderation, facilitation, proctoring or similar roles preferred
- Possess basic technical knowledge and experience in using iOS
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage groups and foster a positive environment
- Detail-oriented with a knack for problem-solving
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing scenarios
