Freelance English (UK) Transcriber

Work Location: Remote 

Engagement Model: Freelance/ Independent contractor 

Language Needed: English (United Kingdom) 

Estimated Start Date:  Mid-June 2025 

Estimated Workload: Approximately 20 hours per week 

Assignment Duration: 1.5 - 2 weeks 

Work Summary 

We are seeking skilled English (UK) Transcribers to support an evaluation project by listening to audio recordings and editing previously transcribed text files. The transcription must follow a strict formatting tied to guidelines. This is an excellent opportunity for English (UK) speaker who are looking to work remotely on a short-term freelance basis! 

Role Summary 

The ideal candidate should have excellent listening and writing skills, as well as being an English (UK) speaker with great attention to detail and the ability to multitask. 

• Idiomatic fluency in English (United Kingdom)  

• Proficient typing and computer navigation skills 

• Excellent listening and writing skills 

• Strong attention to detail  

• Ability to follow complex instructions and style guidelines 

• Excellent time management 

• Prior transcribing audio data experience is preferred
