Local Coordinator (Singapore, onsite)

DataForce by TransPerfect is currently looking for Local Coordinator to join our onsite team in Singapore!  

 As a Local Coordinator, you will play a vital role in overseeing a team of language experts, including AI Language Data Leads and Analysts. You will manage the day-to-day operations of AI projects, ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards and client requirements. You will also serve as the primary liaison between internal and external operation teams to keep all project activities aligned and on track.  

Role Summary 

 As a Local Coordinator, you will: 

• Serve as the main point of contact for the project team and take ownership of all assigned project tasks 

• Manage task distribution, ensuring that each activity is assigned to the appropriate resources and completed on time and to the highest quality standards 

• Collaborate closely with both internal and external operations teams to proactively identify, communicate, and resolve issues as they arise  

Role Responsibilities 

• Stay informed and up to date on all project requirements, tools, and workflows 

• Effectively assign and manage tasks to ensure balanced workloads and timely completion 

• Support recruitment efforts by interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members 

• Monitor, track, and report on project KPIs, reviewing quality and performance in line with project guidelines 

• Serve as the central point of contact for task requests—review priorities and delegate assignments to the team accordingly 

• Identify performance gaps or workflow inefficiencies and implement improvement plans as needed 

• Participate actively in project meetings to share updates, discuss challenges, and ensure alignment across teams 

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in project or team management within a fast-paced environment 

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Project Management, Communication Studies, or related field 

• Idiomatic fluency and strong cultural understanding in one of the following languages: Malay Indonesian, Thai, Vietnamese, or English (Singapore). You will be required to work with target content, including reading, processing, analyzing, and labeling data in the target language 

• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality 

• Proven experience working in a target-driven or results-oriented environment 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to provide clear instructions and collaborate effectively with team members 

• Demonstrated ability to analyze performance data and identify trends 

• Knowledge of contact center processes, procedures, and performance metrics is a plus
