Work Schedule: Wednesday – Sunday during the hours of 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM PDT
Estimated Start Date: Mid-May 2025

Hourly Rate: $38 USD
DataForce by TransPerfect is seeking a motivated Clinical Research Coordinator with experience in clinical trials or clinical research, particularly involving Personally Identifiable Information (PII) related to seniors and minors. This role is part of a new data collection project based in San Diego, California. Join us on an exciting and innovative initiative aimed at advancing Artificial Intelligence technology.
We are looking for individuals who have excellent communication skills, are diligent and detail-oriented, and can work somewhat independently. The successful candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced work environment and has experience in customer service.
Candidates must be available to work full-time Wednesday - Sunday during the hours of 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM PDT.
Role Summary
The Clinical Research Coordinator will work onsite at a designated location in San Diego and will be expected to foster a positive participant experience. Clinical Research Coordinators will work directly with participants to ensure the proper execution of study requirements. The primary responsibility is to moderate user sessions and provide updates to the other members of the production team, as well as troubleshooting of data collection technology.
Role Responsibilities
Understand provided project documentation to assist participants
Interact with participants and lead them through the data collection project
Capture data for the assigned project, aiming to reach the targeted daily goal
Utilize client tools to label/tag data
Convey sessions details to the Project Manager and Production team
Communicate and coordinate with project team
Interact with various hardware & software
Assist in preparing session materials and setting up facility
Monitor and manage participant flow within the site
Address participant questions and concerns in a professional manner
Provide feedback on session dynamics and participant engagement
Ability to lift up 25lbs when needed
Job requirements
Role Requirements
1+ years of experience leading or running clinical trials or clinical research, specifically working with PII involving minors and senior citizens
Available to work full-time Wednesday - Sunday during the hours of 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM PDT
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, communications, or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
Experience in moderation, facilitation, proctoring or similar roles
Possess basic technical knowledge and experience in using iOS
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage groups and foster a positive environment
Detail-oriented with a knack for problem-solving
