Actors in Barcelona

• Work location: Onsite in Barcelona

• Engagement model: Freelance / Independent contractor   

• Project duration: May 9-May 23 (weekends excluded) 

• Requested availability: 4 consecutive hours in 1 session (morning or afternoon)

• Hourly rate: 25 USD 

We are currently looking for actors of all experience level in Spain to join our Ercina audio collection project!   

The purpose of the study is to collect audio data from simulated Doctor – Patient conversations.   

This study will take place in our Barcelona office between May 9- May 23 (excluding the weekends). You will take on the role of a “patient” who will have a conversation with a “doctor”. Participation will be done in one 4-hour session. 

As the “patient”, you are required to participate naturally in a simulated medical consultation. Respond authentically to help the “doctor” practice conducting and documenting a physical examination.

In order to be considered for this study, you need to meet the following criteria: 

• Be a native Spanish speaker

• Acting training completed (open to actors at any level of training, including beginners)

• Fluent in English

• Have great communication skills 

• Be able to improvise 

• Be available to participate in the study onsite in Barcelona for 1/2 day between May 9-May 23, 2025.
