Crossbill Audio Collection - Czech

We are currently looking for people to participate in our Crossbill project. 

What is the project about?

The purpose of this project is to record a series of short sentences/prompts. These recordings will be used to analyze and improve speech recognition software.

Task Description:

You will record 30 short sentences/prompts in your Czech using our DataForce Contribute app. These prompts need to be recorded indoors with no background noise.

Where is the project taking place?

This is a fully remote project. You can participate from the comfort of your home..

How long does it take?

We estimate it will take you up to 30 minutes to complete this project.

How much is the compensation?

• You will receive $23 USD for your successful participation.

• As payment method, we offer PayPal or Gift Card. 

• Please note that all submissions will be checked by our Quality Assurance team and compensation will be provided for successful completion of all the recordings; partial submissions will not be accepted. The project team will provide you with feedback once the Quality Check process is completed.

Who is Eligible?

To participate you should meet the following qualifying criteria:  

• Be 18 years or older.  

• Must reside in Czech Republic. 

• Be native speaker of Czech.

• Must be able to read and follow guidelines in English.

• Have a smartphone.

• Pass initial accent screening (at the end of this application form, we will ask you to submit a short sample voice recording that will be used to verify if you are a native speaker of the language you have registered for).
