Levantine or Egyptian Arabic Writer (Remote)

DataForce by TransPerfect is currently looking for Arabic Writers who speak Levantine Arabic or Egyptian Arabic.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative project to improve AI technology; in this case, a Large Language Model (similar to a chatbot).

Candidates with demonstrated writing experience through self-publishing, blogging, book drafts, screenplays, and other related activities will be considered for this role. If you lack demonstrable writing experience but believe you would still be a good fit for this role, please give this opportunity a try!

Task Summary:

Writers will be required to generate conversations between 2-4 turns each in the style of a chatbot (Q&A). They must start with a question and reflect the relevant culture and local context. The conversations will be used as LLM training data.

Short conversation example:

Q: What percentage of the Earth's surface is covered by oceans?
A: About 71% of the Earth's surface is covered by oceans.
Q: Wow, that's a lot of water! No wonder we call it the blue planet.
A: Yes, it certainly is! The oceans play a vital role in regulating the Earth's climate and supporting life on our planet. And they're also a great source of food, energy, and recreation for us humans!

Other Important Information:

• A 30-minute unpaid training must be completed: this includes reading detailed guidelines provided by our team and watching a short video.
• Writers with more availability may also be assigned tasks using Modern Standard Arabic (MSA).
