Engagement Model: Temporary employment; Full-time
Work Schedule: 40 hours/week. Onsite presence may be needed on weekends; hours are spread across 7 days as required by the project.
Estimated Start Date: June 9th, 2025
Estimated Duration: 8 to 10 weeks
DataForce by TransPerfect is seeking a motivated Onsite Project Manager with a background in clinical trials or a medical environment to join our team for a new data collection project in San Diego, California! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative project to improve Artificial Intelligence technology.
We are looking for individuals who have excellent communication skills, are diligent and detail-oriented, and can work somewhat independently. The successful candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced work environment and has experience in customer service.
Role Summary
The Project Manager is a results-driven and innovative project leader within DataForce. Specifically, the Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing operations from the San Diego site itself, and will manage the onsite moderators and the overall data collection project.
The Project Manager has accountability for fostering a professional client relationship, managing and coordinating the onsite team members, and leading and collaborating with cross-functional project teams and partners.
Role Responsibilities
Overseeing all aspects of the management of the onsite data collection project from hand-off through project completion, to ensure project success against defined KPIs
Developing and maintaining project plans, workflows, guidelines and resource materials
Providing effective analysis and reporting of project performance
Tracking, monitoring and controlling project financials, timeline and quality performance
Providing effective risk management through identification, escalation, mitigation, and effective resolution of issues
Executing the project autonomously, while successfully coordinating with cross-functional project teams as required to procure required resources and support
Serving as a primary point of contact with both internal and external stakeholders
Leading and contributing to continuous performance improvements for the data collection project

Strong technical background
Professional English language proficiency
Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Established expertise in project management methodologies
Outstanding teamwork and collaboration skills
Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Established competency in the use of business applications and collaboration tools including but not limited to Microsoft suite of applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams) and Google Workspace suite of products
Role Requirements – Education and/or Experience
Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent
Hardware/software troubleshooting experience
3+ years' relevant project management experience, or experience in other roles with similar responsibilities
Experience in end-to-end management of projects
Ability to apply technology in solving business technical problems
Preferred Requirements
Background in AI industry
Experience with data collection, proctoring or research studies
Knowledge of research methodologies and ethical considerations
Fluency in a language other than English
PMP or equivalent certification
